The fourth edition of the Regional Meeting on Extragalactic Astronomy will take place in the auditorium of the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales, which is situated within the Manzana Jesuítica.

From Buenos Aires to Córdoba

There are two airports in Buenos Aires: If you come from abroad with a destination of Buenos Aires, you will arrive at Ezeiza International Airport “Ministro Pistarini” (EZE, commonly referred to as Ezeiza), located 30 km away from the capital, Buenos Aires. If you wish to continue your travel to Córdoba, there are some flights departing from EZE, but the majority of them depart from Jorge Newbery Airport (AEP, commonly referred to as Aeroparque), situated in Buenos Aires itself.

Manuel Tienda León offers various shuttle services between airports:

• Bus for 10 USD.
• Remis (four-seater vehicle) for 26-35 USD. Tickets can be purchased online or directly at the Ezeiza terminal. You can find more information at Manuel Tienda León.

Another option is to take a black and yellow taxi outside the hall of Ezeiza airport, which will cost you around 20 USD.

From Córdoba Airport to the City Center

• Taxis: taxis are readily available at the airport. You can find them at the designated yellow taxi stands outside the terminal. The authorized green remis company to operate within the premises is Auto Remis (Tel +54 351 472 7777). The travel time to the city center is approximately 30 minutes.
• Buses:
  • The AeroBus connects Córdoba Airport with the city’s New Bus Terminal. The Aerobus service travels to the city bus station between 6:00 am and 11:45 pm, with a frequency of 30-60 minutes and a duration of approximately 50 minutes. To use the service, it is necessary to have a Red Bus card. The price of the Aerobus is four times the cost of a regular urban passenger ticket. The card can also be purchased or recharged at the airport, the New Bus Terminal, or any kiosk that sells Red Bus top-ups. This card can be used to pay for urban bus fares since they operate on the same system. You can check the AeroBus Córdoba schedule on this link.
  • The public transportation service to go from Córdoba Airport to the city center is provided by bus Line 25. This bus also operates with the Red Bus card and has a frequency of departure every 15 minutes, which you can check in this link where all the schedules for Córdoba’s Line 25 are detailed.
